Bio: coming soon
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi where my family owned 100 acres off the Natchez Trace Parkway. I have fond memories of horseback riding with my father and helping my mother in her garden. When I was 15 years old our family left the farm behind and moved to Saudi Arabia for my father's two-year contract overseas. After moving back to the states I obtained a degree in environmental design from the University of Colorado then moved to Atlanta, GA where I worked in graphic design, married and started our own family. My life on the farm, my early travels and being a mom of three adult children has a big influence on my work. I am most familiar with painting in oil and drawing in charcoal but lately I've been dabbling in watercolor.
